Veterinarian
Dr. Sydney Richardson grew up in Louisville, Colorado where she lived with her two older sisters and menagerie of different animals including dogs, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs and an albino hedgehog. Dr. Richardson attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois for her undergraduate studies. During these years she trained service and therapy dogs along with worked for 6 weeks in a mixed animal practice in the Australian Outback. Dr. Richardson graduated with major in Biology and Political Science in 2019. She then graduated Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Spring of 2023 and is very excited to start her career at Town and Country Animal Clinic.
Dr. Richardson enjoys both large animal and small animal veterinary care with a special love for goats, sheep, alpacas and llamas. She also has interests in Anesthesiology and Ophthalmology.
During her free time Dr. Richardson enjoys running, biking, skiing, hiking and adventures with her 4-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd, Jennie. She is excited to venture out farther West and experience living by the ocean and exploring the beautiful outdoors.
