Veterinarian

Dr. Lynnell Hanson comes to us from Northeastern Wyoming where she spent the majority of her childhood on a family cattle ranch. Before her family moved to Wyoming, Dr. Lynnell grew up in eastern Washington, very close to Washington State University. Participating in both 4-H and FFA growing up, Dr. Lynnell raised market steers from her family’s own herd. In 2014, Dr. Lynnell began her undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming, majoring in Animal and Veterinary Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She also minored in Ag Business and Honors. During her time at UW, Dr. Lynnell worked for three years in the Necropsy department at the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory to further her veterinary experience.

After graduating from UW in 2018, Dr. Lynnell returned to Washington to attend WSU for veterinary school. While there, she developed interests in Integrative Medicine and Exotics in addition to her love for the mixed animal practice.

Dr. Lynnell joined Town and Country Animal Clinic mid- 2022 where she currently works with all species to varying degrees. She enjoys finding different treatment modalities that fit with individual client needs and furthering the human-animal bond.

When not at work, Dr. Lynnell enjoys spending time with her dog Bliss, cat Tipsy, and her pet snake Ava. She also enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and teaching country swing dance lessons.
